Dear all,
Thank you for taking part in the SMS Audit training. Your attendance, attention and engagement were truly appreciated. Looking back on the exercise, what could have been better prepared or completed?
- Please always complete a test or activity that has been tasked or requested.
- Full participation on all ‘on-line’ data options are mandatory
- Consult with your session superior if you have any difficulties or need for support
- Please offer any suggestions or questions/concerns that you may have to the instructor
We now come to the second phase of training which is built around the following subject matter items:
Session 1 = WFS Cargo CARE – what is it, why are we addressing it and what will it do to enhance our business? This is further supported with some reference to tools & methodology. We will also give you a Basic introduction to MED’s – Minimum Expectation Documents & Leadership Learning.
Session 2 – 8 = Various stages of how to clarify the basic requirements of all employees & how to best achieve these objectives by a more communicative and collaborative style of Leadership & Supporter principles.
Your practical involvement will be required, and you should expect to address the following areas of participation:
MED – Minimum Expectation Document – this is a framework for you to work within whereby you and your session team will continually update the MED for SME’s (Subject Matter Experts) to a position of completion and then address 4 basic levels within the Cargo organization (5J & 1 AV) –
- Senior Manager level
- Manager Level
- Supervisor Level
- Operations / Admin level
To achieve MED alignment for your role, it will be your responsibility to decide what actions you need to take in order to support your level position on this transformation journey
